A reddish brown big wing spanned moth from the Philippines. Compared to their male counterparts, female species are the largest moths in the world, with wingspans measuring up to 200mm! Atop their red-brown wings they display larger shaped-boomerang window patches on each wing surrounded by a thinner charcoal band to the side of them, and wing tips in the shape of a snake head with pink coloration. A beautiful moth for any collector, new to us!
